The Lions of West Linn, Oregon head to Honolulu, HI with a strong team that finished second in the state of Oregon in 2017-18. The Lions were last in the ‘Iolani Classic in 2013, finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record and in fourth place overall. Led by Head Coach Tyler Toney, West Linn has a strong group of returners. A pair of 6’3 junior guards, Micah Garrett and Bryson Crockett return from last year’s team and are considered the top prospects in the state in the 2020 class. Senior guard Drayton Caolie brings veteran experience to the group as a four-year varsity player for the Lions.

Incoming guard Oreon Courtney comes to West Linn as a proven scorer and was a first-team all-league selection at his previous school. Coach Toney commented on the team: “We return four starters from last year’s team. We are a mix of youth and experience. We expect to play an up-tempo game with high pressure defense.”
