The Skyhawks enter this year following up on an Oregon State 6A State Championship. Southridge defeated Oregon City 45-27 to culminate their 27-2 championship season. The squad from Beaverton, Oregon has a group of returnees led by seniors Natalie Hoff and Maggie Freeman as well as sophomores Cameron Brink and McKelle Meek. 5’11” freshman Maya Hoff looks to be a new impact player for the Skyhawks.

Coach Michael Bergmann leads the group and shared some insight on this year’s group. “We are very excited about the upcoming season. We are expecting to compete for the top of the Metro League in Oregon. The state has many good leagues, but most years the Metro League is at the top, and this year should be no different. While we return many key players, we are young and have much growth ahead of us. We are looking forward to improving this year as individual players and as a whole team.”
