The Panthers of South Medford return to the ‘Iolani Classic for the second time in 2019. Their first appearance, in 2015, led to a 2-1 record and a third place finish in the event. Led by Head Coach Tom Cole, South Medford is coming off of a strong season in 2018-19. The Panthers finished the year 23-7, 7th in Oregon and 2nd in their conference standings.
South Medford will be led by senior Bella Pedrojetti, 14.2 ppg (signed Eastern Washington) and junior Kaili Chamberlin, 12.8 ppg. Sierra Logue, Toni Coleman, Shakia Teague Perry and Bella Stone will also be counted on for major contributions. Coach Cole shared the team goals for this season: “We want to compete for a conference championship and state championship.”
