The Pride of Salesian College Preparatory returns to the Classic for their second visit in 2021. The Pride finished 1-2 in their previous trip to Honolulu in 2016. Veteran Head Coach Stephen Pezzola (12 years) is excited about this year’s group, who return an experienced roster. Led by returnees, seniors Silivia Fonongaloa and Nevaeh Asiasi as well as junior guards Makiah Asidanya and Sofia Fidelus, Salesian College Preparatory are excited for their season. The Pride finished last year with a record of 14-1.

Coach Pezzola commented, “We return fourteen players with varsity experience. The COVID year caused us to combine our JV and Varsity teams. The benefit is that all fourteen players on varsity this year have had varsity experience. As always, I expect our team to play great team defense and share the ball on offense.”
