The Oak Ridge Pioneers enter the 2018 ‘Iolani Classic as first-time participants in the tournament. Located in Orlando, Florida, the Pioneers are fresh off a 2017-18 9A Florida State Championship. Oak Ridge finished the year ranked 9th nationally by USA Today. The team returns a group of experienced players, led by Niven Glover, Kaleb Coleman and Emmaunel Adedoyin. In addition to the returners, the Pioneers have a talented group of newcomers, including: Christopher Walker, Jalen Smith, Lewis Jones, and Zavien Morales.
Head Coach Steven Reece is excited about this year’s group and the expectations. They expect to compete for the state championship again this season.
