The Matadors of Miramonte are led by veteran head coach, Kelly Sopak. Coach Sopak, at the helm for over a decade, has an impressive coaching record of 319-50, including a 30-4 with Miramonte last season finishing ranked 24th in California and a conference championship.
Miramonte is led by senior Clair Steele, committed to Lehigh, and sophomore Rebecca Welsh. The Matadors also feature a key newcomer, freshman Samantha Johnson, along with a new group of teammates who look to have a successful 2017-18 campaign. Coach Sopak spoke regarding this year’s team: “We are very young and are hoping to grow and improve throughout the season.”
