The Lunas of Lahainaluna head over to Oahu for their third appearance in the `Iolani Classic in 2021. Lahainaluna was last in the tournament in 2018 (5th place). Head Coach Iolani Kaniho helms the squad in 2021, his first year as head coach. The Lunas enter the year following a strong 2019-20 season, finishing as MIL Champions with a 19-6 record. Lahainaluna will be led by seniors Kiera Kaniho and Taylor Eldredge, who were both MIL All-Stars in 2019-20. Eldredge was also honored as a Star-Advertiser Fab 15 selection in 2019-20. Coach Kaniho has a simple goal in his first season as head coach: “I just want our girls to get better every week.”
