2022 - 2023 Mount Vernon Boys Varsity
The Mount Vernon Knights are making their eighth appearance in the ‘Iolani Classic and first since 2019. In 2003, the Knights took home the runner-up trophy after falling to Oak Hill Academy in the tournament final.
Last season, Mount Vernon went undefeated in 24 games and won the 2022 New York State Class AA championship, the 13th state title in school history and eighth under the leadership of head coach Bob Cimino.
The Knights are led by senior guards Dylan Colon and Elijah Morris, who led all scorers with 22 points in last season’s New York state championship final.
